Dr. Peter Dwyer
Principal Dentist BA, B.Dent.Sc., Certificate in Orthodontics
I am a general dental surgeon and have 26 years’ experience running clinics in Westmeath, London and Dublin. I initially gained my qualifications in dentistry at Dublin’s Trinity College in 1987. For the past 8 years I have provided general, emergency and cosmetic dentistry at Frederick Dental Clinic.
Both adults and children have praised me for my relaxed and informal approach to dentistry and I enjoy helping nervous patients overcome their fears. Before your treatment begins I will ensure you know all the details about what will happen at each stage of the procedure. I will also answer all of your questions and make sure you feel relaxed and free of dental anxiety before treatment starts.
My passion is dentistry and I thoroughly enjoy building lasting relations with people. Gum health is an area of particular interest to me. I have previously been treasurer of the Irish Endodontic Society. I am currently completing a Masters programme in Orthodontics at Warwick University in order to meet the huge demand for quality orthodontic services at the clinic. I love Orthodontics and am a member of The British and American Orthodontic society.
